How the work is presented
Sources close.
Claims in proportion.
A useful explanation should make it easier to understand both the evidence and its limits.
Evidence and interpretation
Our articles link factual claims to their sources and distinguish reported events from our analysis of their possible effects. A relationship between two things does not, by itself, show that one caused the other.
Dates and scope
Articles identify when developments happened and which period the data covers. Illustrative examples are labelled clearly, so readers can distinguish them from reported prices and forecasts.
Research status
Manuscripts under review, doctoral work in progress and completed publications are different things. Each is labelled separately. Full texts are linked or shared only where appropriate permissions allow.
External resources
The reading room links to material produced by other authors and organisations. Their work is credited and not presented as original Reel GDP material. External links do not imply a formal affiliation or endorsement.
Assistance and review
We use original sources to check factual claims and review articles before publication. Drafting and technical tools can support the work; responsibility for the published content remains with Reel GDP.
